You are responsible for your own airfare. Unless you book the "VIP ticket" option or the ground transfer add-on, you are also responsible for  your own ground transportation to and from the resort, as well as any additional spa services you choose to book for yourself, any additional off-property excursions, water sport rentals, or other transportation needed while on the island. 

Gratuities for resort employees (servers, bellmen, etc) are technically included in the all-inclusive resort stay, and therefore, are not required. However, staff members do make low wages, and therefore, they will truly appreciate a dollar or two here and there. (American dollars are welcome, but change is hard to come by sometimes, so I recommend bringing ones and fives for tipping.)

The add-ons listed on this page are optional, and unless you purchase a VIP ticket package, are at an additional cost.

You will fly into Cancun International Airport.

There are many transfer options, from shuttle buses to private cars. It is recommended to go to either viator.com or expedia.com and search for " ground transfers from cancun airport to Dreams Jade Puerto Morelos"

Taxis are available at the airport. However, my recommendation is to book a private transfer in advance at viator.com

We do NOT coordinate transportation for retreat attendees, as everyone is coming in on different flights at different times, and flight delays are possible, as well. 

We do not recommend sharing rides with others in the group unless you were on the exact same flight. You can get private round-trip transfers for less than $100, or you can get shared transfers, where you’re on a shuttle bus, or even a minivan with people stopping at other hotels for about $20-$40 round-trip

Do not wait to get your taxi at the airport unless you want to pay at least twice as much. The problem with sharing rides with others is that if they have a plane delay, you will end up paying for a taxi price anyway because your driver will not wait for them beyond the allotted wait time. Then someone ends up without a ride. 

Your driver will meet you at the terminal with a sign with your name on it, if you are in a private transfer. If it is a group transfer, you will just ask at the airport where to find that particular company. Make sure that you not only downloads your tickets, but that you also screenshot them so you don’t forget the name of the company you were working with or the phone number of the customer service if you should need it.

The classes are one hour, except morning meditative movement and optional Q&A, which are 1/2 hour, the opening class (which will be 90 minutes), and the pajama party, which will be open-ended, maybe 2 hours.

Most classes will take place in my suite, for privacy's sake. Although, weather permitting, we may do morning movement outdoors, on the beach. 

There will be a retreat group text chat, as well as a special Facebook group for the retreat, along with email notifications, to coordinate meeting spots throughout the retreat. 

Once we are checked in, we will send out a group message letting you know the suite # for sessions, as well as any additional needed location info. 

Please see photos above for a representation of what rooms MAY look like. All rooms at this resort are lovely and have standard amenities such as private bathroom, hairdryer, and coffee-maker.

Accommodations are based on availability, and we can't promise any specific view, room type, or bed configuration (except that shared rooms will have two double beds). 

 *Please note that though this specific resort is the planned location, it is subject to change due to unforeseen circumstances. If the exact location needs to be changed, similar (and still amazing and luxurious!) accommodations will be provided, with similar access/distance to the airport.

Though there are 2-3 planned retreat activities every day, you will still have plenty of time free for fun, adventure, relaxation, and socializing with your soul sisters. 

In addition, none of the sessions are mandatory (although it is recommended to attend them all so you don't miss anything that might have been just the key for you to unlock maximum self love.) That said, if you want to book an excursion or massage and skip a session, and/or eat lunch on your own, that is your call. 

The first half of the last day will be for our catamaran cruise. After that, the rest of the day is free.

• 11/6  8:30pm - “AFTER DARK” PAJAMA PARTY - A relaxed, informal discussion about loving yourself through the embrace of surrender into pleasure, play, sensuality, feminine energy, and cultivating a positive body image. ***Please note: This session is NOT focused on sexual pleasure, but on ways we can love ourselves more through pleasure and presence in the moment and our bodies. We will also specifically explore how body image and sexuality play into self love.

DAY 7

NO ACTIVITIES - CHECK OUT (12pm) AND FLY BACK HOME

No. This is for ANY woman, member or non-member, single, married, or otherwise, who wants to give herself the gift of greater self love. This is NOT part of the YLLM program, and retreat sessions and events are included in the price.

Due to logistics, resort policies, the special discounted room rates offered for this event, the small number of spots available, and the necessity of reserving all accommodations, services, and amenities well in advance for a large group, NO REFUNDS will be offered for cancellations.

We highly recommend that you purchase trip insurance, which is optional and at your own cost. 

*Please note, we cannot re-sell your spot for you, and you may not re-sell your spot to any member of our programs using our Facebook group or community.

Spots are transferrable (sold or gifted) to any other FEMALE person of your choice (as this is a women's retreat), but ONLY with at least 1 month's notice and you must keep the exact same room configuration (either two double beds or one king bed, depending on what was reserved for you) with the same number of people on the reservation. 

This will be an intimate event, to make sure that there is plenty of personal space as well as personal attention for each guest. There are only 10 spots that have been made available (in addition to your instructor and her assistant). This event is expected to sell out (if it hasn't already at the time you're reading this), so if you would like to bring a friend, make sure she books quickly.

While the resort is open to the public, there will be no men attending the retreat itself. This is why most of our sessions will be conducted in my own private suite.

However, some guests may choose to bring significant others with them to the resort to enjoy their free time together when not attending retreat classes. Those significant others are welcome to join us for the opening cocktail meet and greet, and the group dinner on May 12, but will not be permitted to join retreat classes. 

Checkin is at 3pm, and checkout is at 12pm. 

Mexico relies very heavily (almost exclusively, in the resort area) on English-speaking tourism for the local economy. Most people there (including almost all resort employees, taxi drivers, etc.) speak English. 

If you need help at any point from someone who does not speak English, I highly recommend using Google translate on your phone. It's very helpful in a pinch. 

Here are some things I recommend packing:

• cash for souvenirs, off-property excursions or extras like spa treatments,  and tipping (While gratuities are technically included in the all-inclusive resort fees, the employees live on very low wages and will appreciate and give extra good service if you show them appreciation with a dollar or two here and there.) 
• notebook and pens, highlighter, maybe sticky tabs to mark important things during classes
• swimsuit, cover up, flat shoes/flip-flops
• clothes, pjs, toiletries, hair brush, etc.
• sunscreen!!!
• bug spray & bandaids 
• any personal medicine, vitamins/supplements
• hair styling implements (hair dryers are provided, but flat irons/curling irons are not)

Despite sometimes sensational coverage in the media, it is just as safe for a woman to travel alone in the Mexico as it is to travel within the United States to any major city. And it is even safer to travel if you are staying at a gated, all-inclusive resort in a tourist area, especially a luxury resort like Dreams Jade. 

Nothing in life is 100% safe, including getting out of bed in the morning, taking a shower, walking down the stairs, or crossing the street. My advice: don't avoid living just to avoid dying. I've traveled alone many times, and found it pleasant and safe.
